SULFATE PROCESS - PAINT & COATINGS
R-298
Sulfate process rutile grade from high-quality ilmenite, with a ZrO₂/Al₂O₃ inorganic treatment. Aimed at decorative and industrial paints (furniture, automotive repair, architectural) plus printing inks and food/packaging coatings.
R-298 is a general-purpose rutile titanium dioxide pigment produced by the sulfate process from high-quality ilmenite concentrate. An advanced aluminium and zirconium inorganic coating with a compound organic treatment gives strong whiteness with a bluish undertone, efficient dispersibility and high gloss in paints and inks.
